About Us
We are a bunch of guys and girls that grew up wanting to be musicians. We learned to play our instruments and thus began our quest for the sounds that we grew up listening to. We found that creating and sculpting those sounds we wanted to recreate was not as easy as playing it right. We needed the right tools. But where to find them? After an exhaustive and expensive search, I decided to start building them myself ! After I studied under Ed "Radar" Mashal and having played music most my life my ears had become somewhat picky. It took some time to research and put all of the right elements together to create a line of amplifiers that would please even the most jaded ears. But I believe that we have done just that. TONE
TONE: The quest for a more pleasing sound from your guitar, to your ear and the ears around it. You have a sound that you heard on some album when you were younger that set your heart on fire. Something that made you want to play the guitar and make those sounds yourself. Something that made you say,"That is what I want to do!" With all the electronic gadgets available today you can spend all your wealth and all of your time chasing a sound down a rabbit hole. Did you ever consider that most of those sounds were created more simply? One simple question: What is in your cabinet? Is it a PC circuit board? Or a hand-wired point-to-point circuit with the best electronic components? We believe that there is only one way to achieve good tone. That is by hand building every amplifier in house, one at the time. We don't use everything but the kitchen sink to do it. Just good common sense and some "good old american know how". We source the best components and materials available to make the best amplifiers we can possibly produce. We don't have an assembly line or a huge factory. What we do have is the knowledge and craftsmanship to make a great sounding quality amplifier that pleases most discerning ears.
